Our newest design from our bag makers, we are proud to introduce the Sophia Tote! Named after the hometown of our ministry, this tote is made to feel simple yet sophisticated. Featuring a wide double layered strap, this bag sits comfortably on your shoulder and rests right above the waistline. It has a large exterior pocket to securely store smaller items, while the body of the bag is has plenty of space for your everyday essentials and fastens with a magnetic snap. Made out of our veg-tanned leather Stone, this bag will hold it's unique form while still being soft to the touch. We hope you love this special bag as much as we do!

Please note: Because of the tanning process, the suede side of this leather may change in color depending on the batch of leather we may receive. While this does not affect the outside of the bag, you may receive a bag with varying shades inside the bag.

This product is made out of a vegetable tanned leather. As a business, we are taking steps toward more sustainable leathers that are ecologically friendly and produced with minimal chemicals.

Vegetable tanning is a method of tanning (the process of turning an animal skin or hide into leather) that uses only organic matter. While this method is slower and tedious, it creates a longer lasting leather that becomes more beautiful with use over time. The current industry standard tanning process, called “chrome tanning”, uses harsh chemicals to alter the color of hides. In addition to the use of these chemicals, chrome tanning produces toxic waste that is often dumped into local water sources, negatively affecting the environment and the people nearby.

Only 10% of the leather industry uses vegetable tanned leather and we are proud to be supporting a more environmentally friendly choice with our products.
